WordPress sites — built by a safe pair of hands.

15 years of WordPress experience. Hundreds of sites built, supported, and kept running. We design and build WordPress sites that look great, load quickly, and are easy for non-technical clients to edit themselves — with us behind the scenes when you need us.

01 — What is WordPress?

The world's most popular way to run a website.

If you've never used it before — here's the simple version. WordPress is the platform that runs roughly 40% of all websites on the internet, from one-page brochures to global newsrooms. It's powerful, mature, and (importantly) designed to be edited by people who don't write code.

02 — What we build on WordPress

Four ways we work with WordPress sites.

Every project's different. We'll scope the right approach — bespoke build, fast AI-powered starter, plugin work, or page-builder powered — after a short discovery call.

Build

Bespoke custom themes

A WordPress theme built from scratch around your brand and content. Hand-coded, fast, designed for the way your business actually works. Ideal when you want something distinctive that won't look like every other small-business site.

Build

AI-powered starter themes

For when you need to launch quickly without skimping on quality. We use AI to accelerate the design and build — drafts, structure, copy, imagery — while still hand-finishing every site. Faster, leaner, still distinctly yours.

Build

Plugins & integrations

Advice on which plugins to use (and which to avoid), configuration of the ones you need, and custom plugin development when an off-the-shelf option doesn't exist. Plus integrations with CRMs, payment systems, booking tools and more.

Build

Page-builder powered

We set your site up with a friendly drag-and-drop page builder — meaning you can add new pages, edit copy, swap images and rearrange sections yourself without touching code or calling us. Genuinely easy. You'll wonder how editing was ever any other way.

03 — Beyond the build

Care and support, for as long as you need us.

A WordPress site needs more than just a launch. We offer consultancy, hosting, maintenance, ongoing management, training and support — pick what suits you, and we'll be there.

WordPress consultancy

An expert eye on your existing setup. Audits, performance reviews, plugin trims, structural recommendations — honest advice to get more out of the site you already have.

Hosting

Fast, secure, UK-based WordPress hosting tuned to the platform — with backups, SSL and updates handled. See our hosting →

Maintenance plans

Regular WordPress core, theme and plugin updates, security monitoring, and content tweaks — from £20/month. See our plans →

Site management

Don't want to run the site yourself? We'll manage it for you — content updates, new pages, new sections, campaigns. We act as your remote WordPress team.

Training

1-to-1 training sessions, plus written guides and short videos custom to your site. By the end you'll be confidently editing pages, adding posts, and updating images without help.

Ongoing support

Stuck? Confused? Just need a second opinion? We're a phone call or email away. Pay by the hour or pick a monthly plan — whichever fits.

04 — The process

Four steps. No surprises.

A straightforward, iterative process — with check-ins at each stage so you always know what's happening.

Step 01
01

Discovery

A friendly call, an honest brief. We map your audience, content, and goals — and recommend the right WordPress approach (bespoke / starter / page-builder) based on what you actually need.

Step 02
02

Design

Wireframes first, then a clickable design. We iterate quickly with AI-assisted drafts and copy — you give feedback, we refine.

Step 03
03

Build

Custom theme development on a WordPress staging site so you can preview the build, click around, and break things safely before go-live.

Step 04
04

Launch & train

Go-live, with 1-to-1 training sessions, written docs, and post-launch tweaks available. You're in safe hands.

Flexible pricing.

Every WordPress project's different — and so is the right way to pay for it. We'll recommend the model that fits your work, and quote firmly after a short discovery call.

06 — Frequently asked

The usual WordPress questions.

A few things people ask us before kicking off a WordPress project. If yours isn't here, just drop us a line — we'll answer honestly.

Is WordPress secure?

Yes — when it's looked after. WordPress itself is mature, well-maintained, and runs banks, governments and global newsrooms. The risk comes from out-of-date plugins or themes. That's why our maintenance plans include regular updates, security monitoring, and backups — so issues get caught and fixed before they matter.

Can I really edit my own site?

Yes — that's the point of WordPress. We set your site up with a friendly drag-and-drop page builder, give you training, and provide custom guides and short videos. By the end of the project most clients are confidently editing pages, adding posts, and swapping images without our involvement.

What's the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org?

WordPress.com is a hosted commercial service. WordPress.org is the free open-source platform that the rest of the web (including the sites we build) runs on. We work with WordPress.org — meaning your site is yours, hosted wherever you choose, with no monthly platform fees and no lock-in.

How long does a WordPress site take?

Small AI-assisted starter sites can launch in days. A bespoke custom theme typically runs four to eight weeks. Large content-heavy or integration-heavy builds run longer — we'll commit to a timeline in your quote.

Which plugins should I use?

Fewer than you'd think. Most sites need a handful — a form builder, an SEO helper, security, backups, performance — and that's it. We'll recommend a tight set that earns its keep, and flag anywhere a small piece of custom code beats yet another plugin subscription.

Will you host the site?

Yes, and we recommend it — WordPress runs best on hosting tuned for it, and it lets us provide quicker support and updates. We offer UK-based managed WordPress hosting with backups, SSL and uptime monitoring. Or you can host elsewhere — we'll hand over everything you need.

What does a WordPress build cost?

It depends on scope. AI-powered starter sites are at the more affordable end; bespoke custom themes with integrations sit higher. We quote firmly after a short discovery call so you know exactly what you're committing to before any work begins.

07 — Get in touch

Got a WordPress project in mind?

Whether it's your first WordPress site, a redesign of an existing one, or just a half-formed idea about what could be better — we'd love to hear about it. No hard sell, just a friendly chat.
