Shopify AI and merging with ChatGPT

Imagine asking your AI companion to recommend you a new product, an item of clothing, game or pharmaceutical, and then you being able to tell your AI to go ahead and buy it for you. Shopping becomes integrated into your life. You’ll be able to ask your AI assistant, in your home, using only your voice, to “go ahead and order me some new XYZ”. Shopping through conversation.
This vision is fuelled by code found in new releases of Shopify API’s that hints at the integration. It might be a while before it’s fully adopted and in widespread use, but I don’t doubt that it is coming. This is my future as an ecommerce consultant: helping brands to use this technology to grow. So whatever your moral position on AI is, you must not fail to be across the implications.
