Is your digital marketing prepared for the festive season?

Winter ready?

Make the most of this festive season with your Digital Marketing.

We all know that online sales are increasing year-on-year, and 2015 is set to be another bumper season.

More and more consumers in the UK are waiting for popular events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday before purchasing their festive gifts.

Are you ready for these events?

What can you do as a small business owner to make the most of this increase in website traffic?

We’ve put together the four basic channels you should be utilising this festive season to maximise your profits.

1) Google AdWords

  • Use precise targeting to increase your sales.
  • Gather vital data; like which keywords convert better than others.
  • Set a daily budget to manage your investment.
  • Set conversion goals to allow you to measure your return on investment.
  • AdWords campaigns get results!

2) Remarketing

  • Use the increased seasonal traffic to your advantage by building two types of audience list within your Google Analytics

◦           People who have visited your website.

◦           People who have purchased from your website.

  • Target these two lists with different Adverts and measure the results.
  • Benefit from cheap targeted traffic.
  • Remarketing will reduce your average cost per conversion.

  • Build your email list by offering a discount or free delivery in exchange for a visitor’s email address.
  • DO NOT SPAM your email list.
  • Email once a week with a special offer or new product announcement.
  • Email Marketing produces results!

  • Facebook Ads will also increase awareness of your brand amongst potential customers.
  • Facebook provides a great opportunity to get people back to your website.
  • Make sure you have the following six Facebook cover and profile pictures ready, if you pick the right image, this can be an easy way to get likes (just don’t forget to take them down after the event)!
