Shopify or Shopify Plus — which do I need?
For most stores starting out, standard Shopify (Basic or Advanced) is plenty — you get a full platform, all the checkout features, and excellent reporting. Plus is for high-volume retailers who need more checkout customisation, deeper API access, dedicated support, and multi-store setups. We'll recommend honestly based on your trading volume and roadmap.
Can you migrate me from WooCommerce or Magento?
Yes — we've done it several times. We migrate products, customers, orders, and (where possible) SEO equity via redirects. Larger migrations usually move to Shopify Plus; smaller ones to standard Shopify. We'll scope it as a fixed-fee project after a discovery call.
How long does a Shopify build take?
A starter store can launch in days. A full custom theme typically runs four to eight weeks. Shopify Plus migrations are larger — usually three to six months — depending on integrations and data volume. We'll commit to a timeline in your quote.
Which apps will I need?
That depends on your store, but most clients need fewer than they think. We'll recommend a tight set of apps that earn their monthly fee — things like reviews, subscriptions, or shipping rules — and flag any where a small piece of custom work would do the job better.
Will you handle ongoing support after launch?
Yes. We offer monthly maintenance and support plans from £30/month — covering updates, tweaks, content changes, and small new features. Or you can just call us when you need us, no contract required.
What does a Shopify build cost?
It depends entirely on scope. Starter stores are at the more affordable end; full custom builds and Plus migrations sit higher. We quote firmly after a short discovery call so you know what you're committing to before any work begins.
