Bootstrap 4.0 is coming soon

In case you don’t know, all of the themes we build for our customers are built on a framework called Bootstrap. Bootstrap is an open-source HTML, CSS, and JS framework which makes front-end web development faster and easier.

Bootstrap easily and efficiently resizes your website, from phones to tablets to desktops with CSS media queries. This is what makes Bootstrap so powerful for us: responsive, mobile-first websites that work on any screen size.  Mobile compatibility is so important and it still amazes us when we see some big companies still haven’t caught up! In the last year mobile traffic has now increased to over 50% of ALL traffic.

Well the big news, and the reason we’re writing this blog, is that Bootstrap 4 is coming soon and has been announced on the official website.

• Rewritten JavaScript plugins.

and many more features that we’re incredibly excited to discover and explore!

Over the next few months we’ll be keeping an eye on all the updates and incorporating them into our site building, ensuring new websites have the latest backend technology for ultimate performance.
